The March Meeting date has changed!  Join us on March 21, 2017 at 5:30pm at the St.Joseph Office Park, 1451 Harrodsburg Road, Building D 4th Floor, Chase Room. Our program is "Accessing Local and State Diabetes Resources through Technology"  Bring your electronic devices with to practice on-site.  KADE will provide the supper for those attending!

Nurse Specialist Diabetes Education

Description: 

The Nurse Specialist provides community-based nursing services to persons in community settings such as churches, businesses, and community agencies for the purpose of disease prevention and health promotion, focusing on education, awareness and prevention of public health concerns.  Provides evidence-based public health strategies for population-focused diabetes prevention and Control activities in alignment with the Department for Public Health’s diabetes funding resources.
